In this article we present a two-step banner strategy for our client Revita.bg – an online supplier of natural supplements.
The client wanted to promote one of their products for detox and gut health. In the first step, we created an HTML5 banner with an interactive slider. A text on the upper half teases users to find out the secret ingredient for a full detox. Two text boxes guide users to either slide down and reveal the secret, or slide up and see the recipe. After revealing a certain side – the company logo appears and info on the product itself, the package and how it should be taken. A pulsating call to action button encourages to click and learn more about the product.
The banner has a few strong points – apart from being a creative way to introduce the product and engage users with the slider bar, it is very informational on product characteristics and intake instructions.
The second banner was created for a remarketing purpose. All data on interactions (slides, mouse over) made on the first banner was stored and used for remarketing. Users who interacted with the first ad were then retargeted with the second banner. It has a more direct approach as users were already informed about the promotion – the product package was featured for a reminder, 3 key selling points were listed and a fresh and natural color palette to pull it all together.
